The Burger Dive

Last time we were in Billings, MT for a hospital visit, I had my friend stop by this place.  It looked interesting and seemed to have a pretty steady flow of people going in and out.  The atmosphere was great and the people were awesome!  They even had some live music during the middle of the day (if you dig that vibe).

I ordered a basic bacon cheese burger, even though they had a pretty cool variety of burgers to choose from. To say the least, it was a great burger!!  I would highly recommend this place anytime you are in Billings.      Hope you enjoy!

Twisted Root Burger Company

This last week, we took in the Twisted Root Burger Co in Dallas. It was a great place to eat! I found it on Diner, Drive-ins and Dives. They have great burgers with a lot of variety. I had the Peppercorn Ranch and bacon burger...amazing. One thing that was a new experience on top of it all was having Irish Cream Root Beer, very surprised and tasty.

Two Fisted Mario Pizza in Denver

This week while we were in Denver for Love Mercy. I got the opportunity to take the teens to Two Fisted Mario Pizza on 16th and Market downtown. It was a place I scouted out while on a walk downtown. I had never heard of it but took a chance and I was glad I did. They guys there were great!

The teens had a great time, the pizza was large and in charge and we will for sure head back for another trip when in Denver.

On a very cool side note, I put up 123,700 on Ms. PacMan which is a personal best and was a lot of fun.

The Alpine Inn

If you happen to find yourselves in the western part of South Dakota (Hill City to be exact) in the near future there is a place you need to check out.

The Alpine Inn is a great place. Rach and I had many a meal there and were never disappointed coming away. For luch they have a pretty good menu (german oriented food) and for supper they slim that down to one meal. They serve a 6oz or 9oz bacon wrapped filet, with potato and salad wedge and you will not be sad. To top it all off they have a fantastic dessert menu for you to choose from so go ahead and order up. The price is great, but two things: get there early especially in the summer and bring cash, they don't take cards.

One of my favs!

Today I was really in the mood for Benihanas! It is a great place to go for a treat or special occasion, but you have to make sure your ready, it can be a bit pricey. Beni's is a place where they cook the meal right infront of you at your table. The chefs do a great job with the presentation and my girls eat it up (the presentation and the food).

My favorite meal there is the shrimp and steak, I have never been disappointed and we always have a great time together. Big thanks to my mom and dad at making this one of the special things we do when we go visit.
If you ever go I would really recommend the fried rice and the shrimp sauce, it's the yellow one to put it in simple terms. Hope at sometime to get to check it out, let me know if you get the chance.

Vimbos

In Wheatland, Wyoming you will find a great place to eat called, yes 'Vimbos.' We found it while on a youth trip to Denver, the kids went to fast food and I headed over to Vimbos to give it a try. I have eaten there 4 times and have not been cheated at all. They have beer battered fries that have always been crispy and tasty. I would invite you to check it out if you are in the area. On a geographical note, it is close to the windiest spot in Wyoming and for a cheesy moment, "if the wind blows you to Wheatland, grab the handle at Vimbos and head on in."

A few weeks ago when we were in Denver we got the chance to eat the Paramount Cafe. What a great place to get a meal, watch some football or hang out at. Rach and I shared the shreeded beef enchilada and got some onion rings for an app. Both were great and would for sure get the same thing again.

There were a ton of items I would not mind trying on the menu and look forward to heading back sometime.
